Michigan's Economic Development Basic Course Sponsorship

MEDA makes it a priority to provide certification courses for the professional development of its members. The Basic Course, which is the first step in the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation through the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), attracts 30-45 economic developers each year for comprehensive training by experienced leaders. Supporting this event will provide scholarship(s) that would otherwise not be available to economic development professionals whose organizations have limited financial resources.
