Village of Breckenridge: The Village of Breckenridge has a population of 1,328 and is located in Gratiot County, Michigan (population of 42,476). The Village is conveniently located on Michigan Highway 46, just a short distance from Midland and Saginaw, and in proximity to other major cities such as Lansing and Detroit. Gratiot County is a leading agricultural producer of dry beans, sugar beets, corn, wheat, poultry, pigs, cattle, and dairy products. The Breckenridge Industrial, Technology and Agribusiness Park is the first certified agribusiness park in the state of Michigan. Breckenridge is the heartland of the county in terms of agriculture. The largest grain processing facility in Michigan is adjacent to the east side of the Village and is owned by Michigan Agricultural Commodities.
