MEDA Offers New CBP Benefit Through Google Analytics 

Google Analytics

The MEDA staff has recently become educated in Google Analytics.

It is now offered as a new benefit for Certified Business Park owners and operators.

Accompanying each CBP page is an associated Google Analytics account that will show the number of views to each site and other beneficial statistics.

This service is complementary to all CBP owners and operators.

 

GOOGLE ANALYTICS FOR CURRENT CBPs


CBP owners and operators, you will need to complete a few steps before you can enjoy the privileges.

 

1)    You will need an operating Google account to view the Google Analytics data for your park.

i)        Anyone can have a Google account, even if you don't use Google Email.

 

2)    To create a Google account:

i)        Go to:  https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount?continue=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&hl=en

ii)     You can use your current email/work address (for example: johnsmith@michigan.gov)

 

3)    You need to contact us and give us the email address you are going to use for your Google account so that we can give you permission to view your park's page.

i)      You WILL NOT be able to access your park's Analytics until you a.) Have a Google account and b.) Inform us of that account.

 

4)    MEDA staff will processes your email address into your park's Google Analytics page and send an approval to view your page.

 

5)    To view your park's Goole Analytics page:

i)      Go to:http://www.google.com/analytics

ii)     Click: Access Analytics

iii)    Sign in with your Google account

iv)   View your park's Google Analytics page.

CBP's Add Tenants

St. Johns NewsletterAdditions to the Saint Johns Certified Business Park
Tolles DHS, LLC is currently constructing an 18,000 square foot office building on a 2.86 acre parcel in the Saint Johns Certified Business Park. The building will be leased to the State of Michigan and utilized by the Department of Human Services. A large portion of the building is open office area that could be retrofitted for other office use. The State has an option to purchase or renew the ten year lease.

Additions in the Wixom Business Center
Dart Development Group just added Diebold, Inc. to the Wixom Business Center. This tenant, that till occupy 7,646 square feet of leased space, offers ATM and advanced teller automation technology for cash access and financial institution/cluster interaction. they also provide security and facility solutions of ATM security and the prevention of ATM fraud.
CBP Discussion Group on LinkedIn

The Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA) is always looking for new ways to promote the Certified Business Park (CBP) program as well as provide opportunities for park owners and operators to interact and share ideas. This is why MEDA recently added a discussion group for CBP owners and operators on the popular, business connection-oriented social media website, LinkedIn.

To acces the CBP Discussion Group click here. If you don't already have a LinkedIn account, it is free and easy to sign up for one. You can also access the CBP Discussion Group on LinkedIn by going to the CBP Webpage and clicking the "Follow us on LinkedIn" button. This group is open to the public, so anyone interested in Certified Business Parks can join!

MEDA Region 2 - Highlights on the Northern Lower Peninsula

Boyne CityNorthern Michigan is a popular recreational get away for many in-state and out-of-state residents. With an abundance of lakes, rivers and forests its no wonder tourism is one of Northern Michigan's main industries. During the cool winter months there are plenty activities to keep you busy, such as snowmobiling, skiing, sledding, ice fishing, and hunting. In the summer boating, canoing, kayaking, and tubing keep visitors occupied. Many sand dunes and sunny beaches are just a short drive away. Whichever season it may be there is sure to be a festival taking place some where.
