          Interesting Information About Monitor Township

Monitor Township and Bay City -- Monitor is one of Bay County's 14 townships and it borders Bay City. Its current population is about 10,000. Main industries are construction, healthcare, transportation equipment, accommodation, food service, education service, finance and insurance. Monitor Township is a safe and affordable community for businesses with local colleges and universities, water and rail transporation, a regional airport and economical utilities and telecom services.  

 

Bay County -- Bay County is located in the Thumb Area of Michigan. It has a population of about 112,000 people, most of which live in urban areas. Its main manufacturing hub is Bay City, which borders the Saginaw Bay. The Michigan legislature created the county in 1857. Its original community name was "Lower Saginaw". Attractions and events include free, weekly Friendship Shell Concerts, Delta College cultural and athletic events and miles of boating resources, among many other attractions.
