Interesting Information About Saline
The Sauk Trail -- Saline is at the eastern end of the historic Great Sauk Trail. The Sauk Indians blazed this trail to create a route from Detroit to Chicago. The trail has since been paved and deemed the Detroit-Chicago Turnpike.
Doing Business in Saline -- The City of Saline has been able to maintain controlled growth for several years. Located in the Ann Arbor metropolitan area, one of the fastest growing technology cities, the future of Saline is very optimistic, with two dozen different industries making Saline their home. It is also only 50 miles from Detroit, 66 miles from Flint, 37 miles from Toledo and 240 miles from Chicago. There are several class A truck routes surrounding and throughout the city.
