          Interesting Information About Ann Arbor

University of Michigan -- This world famous university is in the heart of Ann Arbor. With schools, colleges and departments in such areas as architecture, business, dentistry, engineering, law, nursing, social work - 200 degree programs in all - U of M has the most popular programs for everyone's interest. Beyond their expansive athletics department, U of M also has several recreational activities such as cycling, dance, field hockey, ninjitsu and - 900 student organizations in all - there is something for all students. It is no wonder the university tied for the #2 public institution in the United States in 2006.
 

Ann Arbor Museums -- There are several museums in the Ann Arbor/U of M area. Among them are the Exhibit museum of Natural History, featuring Michigan wildlife and Native American culture among other exhibits. Walk through nature The Matthaei Botanical Gardens while learning about caring for our natural heritage. Look at mammals, inspects and birds at the U of M Museum of Zoology or sit down to enjoy song, dance and other performing arts with the University Musical Society.
