 Mid-Michigan Innovation Center -- The Mid-Michigan Innovation Center, located in Midland, is a wonderful place for entrepreneurs and start-up companies to grow. This non-profit organization helps these companies to connect with multiple sources of financing and capital including pre-seed investment funds, angel investment, venture capital and government loan programs. Companies can obtain scientific, medical or technological testing assistance through major universities. Several economic development partners can provide information related to demographics, tax incentives and much more! They can even warehouse your good and supply materials among many other services.
 Dow Gardens -- The Dow Gardens, open all year at 10 a.m. until dusk everyday except major holidays, is a beautiful mesh of paths that go past a waterfall, bridges and an array of lovely flowers. Consisting of over 100 acres of free and flower viewing and color changing in the Fall. The Conservatory, within the Gardens, has tropical orchids and seasonal displays. There are even activities for the handicapped and for children. Buy a gift while you are there at the Crab Apple Gift Shop. The Dow Gardens are located at 1809 Eastman Avenue in Midland.
