Incentives Taskforce
Taskforce Charge: Michigan political leaders are embarking on the restructuring of our state business taxes. During the course of this discussion, several state political leaders have suggested that with lower overall business taxes, Michigan should not need the same or any level of economic development business incentives. As practitioners, we know this cannot be considered an either/or proposition. As our state struggles to climb out of an economic recession, we know our state needs to pursue new growth and expansion aggressively.
